Compare PDFs Privately

SmarterDiff extracts the text layer from each PDF and runs a local diff in your browser session.

Workflow

1. Open the PDF tab.
2. Select the older PDF as A and revised PDF as B.
3. Run the comparison and review added/removed lines.
4. Confirm important edits in your source document set.

If the PDF is scanned

Scanned PDFs often have little or no text layer. In that case, use image comparison or OCR tools first, then compare extracted text.
